about

This song came through a conscious stream, I only set the metronome to certain speed which I have no idea how I decided upon, and then strummed out the guitar and narration in one take. The sanctity of the narrator´s moment in folklore is not to be trifled with, so nothing was fixed or redone, in the main content at least. Some additional instrument parts were allowed, but they couldn´t be fixed after they had been recorded. No meddling was justified except live routing of the channels into delay and modulation units, as they have a moment of their own.

As the emotional content was delivered to me rather than me thinking it out, I had no egotistic need to fully understand the meaning of the fable. Thus, for the non-scandinavians; this is a mythological song about the women´s lib.
